Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our luxury airline catering services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily tasks as outlined by the QA Supervisor and Manager, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to company standards.
  • Verify daily quality checks of goods delivered by our suppliers, guaranteeing exceptional quality and consistency.
  • Responsible for checking all chillers and dry stores within the production and warehouse, ensuring proper inventory management and rotation.
  • Perform regular audits across various areas of the kitchen/operation, ensuring compliance with cleanliness levels, temperature controls, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Support the QA events international team in diverse locations across the world as needed, promoting a unified quality assurance approach.
  • Supervise adherence to internal safety rules, aiming to prevent incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Submit daily reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor on any incidents, issues, and solutions, as well as general production development updates.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and data-driven, with the ability to influence different departments to suggest, implement, and track DO & CO standards.
  • Strong relationships with colleagues, mentoring, and motivating, creating a team spirit and encouraging them to be at their best.
  • Clear and engaging communication, with strong written and verbal English skills, and the ability to keep the team well-informed.
  • Flexible thinking, making decisions efficiently, and handling change to ensure everything is right for our partners and the DO & CO family.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP and Food Hygiene Certification, and a BSc in Food Science or a similar role.
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office package, with excellent working knowledge of reporting and managing data.
