School Information

We are working with a SEND school in Exeter that provides a personalized wrap-around education package to students with complex needs or EHCP pupils at risk of having to be educated in residential placements. The school has multiple settings, and we are seeking candidates who are happy to work across KS1- KS4.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess the ability to adapt to changing situations. Responsibilities include guiding students as a Learning Mentor, offering personalized guidance and support; collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans; and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.

Requirements and Salary

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A UK driving license and access to a car
  • Happiness in using your car for business use and having business insurance
  • Availability to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis
  • Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions
  • Demonstrated patience and empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
  • Dedication to the success of students

We offer a competitive salary of £83.33 per day, which reflects the market rate for this role and location.
