Job Title: Experienced Panel MET Specialist

Estimated Salary: £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

This role will play a pivotal part in the smooth functioning of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on damaged vehicles. As a Panel MET Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing vehicle body parts, including metalwork, electrical systems, and trim, to restore vehicles to the pre-accident condition. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Performing efficient repairs to vehicle body panels, including metalwork;
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and trim issues on vehicles with effectiveness;
• Repairing and replacing damaged components, electrical wiring, interior trim, and mechanical systems to ensure a seamless finish;
• Stripping and refitting parts on vehicles;
• Conducting thorough inspections for hidden damage and assessing the extent of the repairs;
• Carrying out thorough checks to verify the safety features of the repaired vehicles;
• Engaging in teamwork to maintain timely repair completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Panel MET Technician, Level 3 Qualified, and ATA Accreditation (preferably).
