About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate English and Performing Arts teacher to join our team at Smart Teachers. The successful candidate will be teaching in a supportive and dynamic environment, working with students who have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and associated complex needs.
The role involves teaching across Key Stages, with class sizes of 5-10 students and a maximum of 25 lessons per week. You will be responsible for teaching English, with some additional time dedicated to Music, Drama, and Art.
Responsibilities
- To carry out professional duties as outlined in the latest School Teachers Pay and Conditions document.
- To teach a class of pupils, ensuring planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
- To maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
- To promote the school's mission statement, developing potential, touching hearts, and engaging minds.
