Role Description:

Parker Smith Inclusion Ltd is seeking a talented QTS English Teacher to lead our English and drama department at an autism specialist school in Wandsworth, South West London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching English and drama, with a focus on creating engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

The English and drama department at our school is committed to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate our students. Our department aims to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where students can develop their skills and confidence in a fun and engaging way.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching: Deliver high-quality English and drama lessons, ensuring planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet individual needs.
  2. Ethos: Promote and maintain the positive ethos and values of the school, supporting its mission to develop potential, touch hearts, and engage minds.
  3. Professional Standards: Uphold the professional standards for qualified teachers, in line with the General Teaching Council for England's code of conduct.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or strong interest in teaching both English and drama.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for literature and the performing arts, with the ability to inspire and engage students.

Salary and Benefits:
