Department Communications Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Outreach and Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of effective multi-channel communications for the Department of Sociology at the University of Cambridge. This varied and dynamic role has key responsibilities in the provision of, and support for, all areas of communications and outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of effective multi-channel communications to promote the world-class teaching and research in the Department.
- Manage communications platforms, including social media and website content management systems.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of audience-driven communications.
Salary and Benefits:
The post is available part-time at 40% (2 days per week or similar), with an estimated salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum. The University actively supports equality, diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from all sections of society.
