The successful candidate will support the Head of Department to provide high-quality management, leadership, and guidance across the curriculum, ensuring an excellent learning experience that achieves high outcomes for all students through exemplary practice in teaching, learning, and assessment.

To achieve this, you will improve student outcomes by tracking, monitoring, and inspiring both staff and students, playing a pivotal role in Quality development and further enhancing the area.

We seek a passionate individual who:

  • Is enthusiastic about education and developing learners' aspirations.
  • Has natural leadership charisma to inspire others.
  • Has extensive relevant experience in teaching Construction subjects and good knowledge of working in FE.
  • Has knowledge of and can demonstrate relevant industry skills essential for the role.
  • Has current Health & Safety knowledge relevant to the role and excellent interpersonal, administrative, communication skills, being organised and able to meet deadlines is also essential.
  • Is organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Has relevant subject trade qualifications.
  • Holds a teaching certificate such as DET, DTLLS, Cert ED or PGCE.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
