Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Department to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across the Electrical Installations curriculum. This will involve providing leadership and guidance to trainers and assessors to ensure excellent learning experiences for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Department to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across the Electrical Installations curriculum.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to trainers and assessors to ensure excellent learning experiences for students.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement curriculum strategies.
Requirements
  • Must hold a Level 5 or above teaching qualification such as DET, DTLLS, or Cert Ed/PGCE.
  • A Full Level 3 NVQ Construction qualification relating to the curriculum area.
  • Must hold or working towards IQA Award or equivalent.
  • Extensive relevant experience working in an education/training provider.
  • Recent teaching experience in the relevant curriculum area.
  • Evidence of professional updating and development.
  • Ability to work across multiple campuses.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • UK Right to Work.
