Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to lead our Ultimate Tech programme, ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained at all times. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills, with experience in working with children and a natural leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver tech activities for children aged 8-14, focusing on participation, skill development and enjoyment.

• Directly manage a team of staff, ensuring they deliver both the quality of care and the standard of activities expected at the Ultimate Activity Company.

• Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.

• Supervise and engage with children outside of timetabled activities.

• Manage administrative duties and act as the main point of contact for parents.

• Demonstrate the Ultimate Activity Company promise of ‘Inspiring Children Every Day’, with the required energy, enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the season.

Requirements

• Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in IT teaching, Computer Science or Digital Media, with programming experience.

• Excellent communication skills and experience in working with children, with a passion for IT skills development.

• Natural leadership style, with experience in managing a team and delivering activities.

• Problem-solving skills and patience, with the ability to help individuals with IT problems.

• A fun and rewarding job in the holidays, with opportunities for further career development in ICT teaching or the childcare industry.
