**Job Title:** Learning Disabilities Manager
**Location:** West Bridgford, Nottingham, UK
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Disabilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of support staff to provide person-centered care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans for each resident in collaboration with their families and healthcare professionals.
- Manage the budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance the quality of care and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management position within a learning disabilities or autism setting.
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
