Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential home, ensuring the highest quality of care and support for residents.
  • Lead a team of support staff, promoting person-centered care and supporting their professional development.
  • Develop and implement care plans for each resident, collaborating with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a management position within a learning disabilities or autism setting.
  • Strong understanding of learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
