Resident Care Coordinator Role

Prestwickcare is a leading provider of care services, committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Resident Care Coordinator at our Beech Tree House care home in Alnwick.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including discount cards, bonus potential, and employee assistance programme.
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience in care home management
- Previous experience in supervisory or management roles
- Satisfactory DBS check and employment references
- Maintain high standards of care through direct involvement and supervision
- Interact with residents to ensure their health needs are met
- Report any ill-health among residents and request GP visits as necessary
- Ensure meals are adequate in quantity and quality
- Audit Care Plan documentation to ensure best practice
- Supervise visits and liaise with GPs to establish good relationships
- Manage budgets and take corrective action as needed
- Provide a suitable staff rota to meet staffing requirements
- Comply with Care Home policies and procedures
- Investigate complaints and produce reports and recommendations
- Undertake disciplinary hearings as required
