**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Forklift Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair, as well as experience working with engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

As a Mobile Forklift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery. You will also collaborate with customers surrounding the plant, lifting, and handling products.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Accurately diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant and forklift machinery
  • Collaborate with customers surrounding the plant, lifting, and handling products
  • Actively travel to sites and carry out repairs of equipment and create solutions

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries (essential)
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  • Experience working with engines and batteries (essential)
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  • Full UK Drivers License

The estimated salary for this role is £33,000 - £36,000 base, with an OTE of £45,000+.
