We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Strativ Group. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met during the new product introduction phase.
- Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes for new products.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
- Participate in design reviews and provide quality input to ensure manufacturability and reliability of new products.
- 5+ years of experience as a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably within the automotive sector, though other industries such as marine, aerospace, defense will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, quality tools, and techniques.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with casting, machining, molding, assembly, fabrications, and measurement techniques.
- Holder of a valid driving license and flexibility to support regular domestic and international travel to suppliers/customers.
- Engineering degree or equivalent engineering education qualifications or experience.
