Job Title: Quality Assurance Operative

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Operative to join our team in Brighton, CO. As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify defects and work with production and technical support departments to resolve issues.
  • Coach and support production members on approved assembly processes and provide an interface to other departments.
  • Handle non-conforming products and support factory personnel on initiation.
  • Coordinate rework activities for non-conforming parts or products in progress or inventory.
  • Provide independent quality approval for processes not participated in by the operative.
  • Facilitate Form, Fit, and Function testing of identified products.
  • Support the production line on potential quality issues and provide guidance to specifications.
  • Verify product requirements are fulfilled before release for storage, including review of inspection journal and process documentation.
  • Compile and communicate quality reports and perform Material Review Board meetings daily.
  • Perform Dispatch inspections in the storage yard to ensure quality of units before loading on the rail for shipping.
Requirements:
  • One to three years related production assembly experience and/or quality training.
  • Auditing, quality assurance/control/improvement, statistical tools, 6 Sigma, statistical analysis, and SPC preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Set a good example of personal integrity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the job.
  • Use measuring tools and gauges.

Compensation:

$22+ per hour, commensurate with experience, with a $3 differential once moved to nights.
