Job Description:

The role of the Technical Leadership Expert - Engineering is to take over the leadership of the technology function in a fast-growing business. This involves working with other departments, including biologists, chemists, hardware engineers, commercial teams, and more.

This is an exciting business that is tackling pollution issues head-on and disrupting a global industry. The successful candidate will have ownership of the technology strategy and work with an awesome inter-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise to support the development of existing experts and continue to grow the team
  • Owning the technology strategy for the business and working with various stakeholders
  • Strong people management experience and effective communication skills for seamless collaboration across diverse technical levels

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in a data or technology-focused field like Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a solid STEM background
  • Previous hands-on experience in technical roles, strong people management experience, and product management or strategic leadership experience
  • Experience in a start-up / scale-up is nice to have, cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
