Maintenance Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our team at Luton Bennett Careers in the Buxton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased engineer to work with control circuits, PLCs, and variable speed drives in a heavy engineering environment.


Competitive salary range: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus regular overtime (1.5x), increasing holidays (up to 25 days), bank holidays, pension, training, and progression opportunities.

This role involves carrying out electrical fault finding and repair work on production equipment, as well as preventative maintenance and installation work on exciting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining industrial equipment, including manufacturing machinery and process controls.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with control systems, PLCs, and variable speed drives, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong understanding of electrical principles and practices is essential for this position.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Carrying out electrical fault finding and repair work on production equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of industrial equipment
  • Installing new electrical systems and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered
