Job Summary
Tameside Council is seeking an experienced Practice Educator to join our Social Work Academy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of newly qualified social workers.
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified social worker and Practice Educator who is passionate about supporting the learning and development of our future workforce. You will be responsible for providing nurturing support to our social workers, as well as offering reflective supervision to our team managers who are aspiring and qualified Practice Educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of newly qualified social workers through a thorough 36-month programme of high-quality learning and development
- Provide reflective supervision to social workers and team managers
- Make and maintain excellent links with higher education institutions
- Recruit and supervise other practice educators
