Role Overview

Due to business expansion and an increase in workload, we are seeking an experienced Pump Fitter to join a leading international company based near Widnes. This position provides the opportunity to work on a range of pump systems, collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

This is a challenging role for individuals with demonstrable experience working in similar roles, overhauling rotating equipment in workshop environments. Successful candidates must have time-served Mechanical qualifications and be able to advise on corrective actions, perform risk assessments, and interpret manufacturing designs and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:
• Installation, removal, and overhaul of pumps
• Reporting on the condition of rotating equipment before repair
• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards
• Conducting risk assessments and permits to work

Requirements:
• Time-served in a Mechanical discipline
• Demonstrable experience in the overhaul of rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, and motors
• Ability to read, review, and interpret manufacturing designs, drawings, and schematics
• Experienced in carrying out risk assessments and permits to work
• Confident working under own supervision

The successful candidate can expect to earn approximately £60k per year, taking into account 37.5 hours of work per week, overtime pay, and realistic earnings potential.
