About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide housing-related support to vulnerable adults with long-term enduring mental health needs.
  • Take the lead in housing support at our dedicated supported housing service, ensuring a safe and empowering environment for our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting independence and community integration.
  • Manage housing-related support, including maintenance and repairs, to ensure a comfortable living environment.
  • Support clients with mental health problems, providing emotional guidance and empowering them to manage their conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this.
  • Significant experience of working as a housing support worker and having a Housing-related qualification.
  • Experience working within the mental health sector, social care sector, and/or supporting people experiencing emotional distress.
  • Understanding of safeguarding for adults.
  • Ability to be flexible to fit in with shift patterns, including days, nights, weekends, and bank/public holidays.
