Housing Support Worker

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Worker. As a key member of our Locality team, you will be responsible for providing housing-related support to young people aged 16 to 20 in a 24/7 setting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Utilize strength-based, restorative, and trauma-informed practice to empower young people to take control of their lives.
- Work independently, often in lone settings, to provide support and guidance to young people transitioning to independent living.
- Facilitate support to help young people develop essential life skills, including domestic skills, parenting skills, social skills, and behavior management skills.
- Collaborate with young people, professionals, and family members to develop and implement support plans and risk assessments.
- Ensure a smooth handover to night support staff to maintain continuity of care.
**About the Role**
This position is part of the Young People's Housing Related Support Service, Our Way Leeds (OWL), delivered by a consortium of service providers. As a Project Worker, you will contribute to the development of young people's independent living skills, promoting their well-being and self-sufficiency.
