Job Description:

The Transaction Processing Coordinator role at Abacus Consulting involves providing high-level support to our finance team by coordinating the day-to-day transaction processing activities.

Your main responsibilities will include ensuring that invoices are accurately processed and settled within agreed credit terms, reviewing bank postings, and clearing items relating to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

You will also be responsible for performing credit control processes to ensure timely payments, processing expenses and credit card transactions, and assisting with financial month end and year end closures.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to the success of our finance team.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day transaction processing activities.
  • Process invoices and settle them within agreed credit terms.
  • Review bank postings and clear items relating to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Perform credit control processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Process expenses and credit card transactions.
  • Assist with financial month end and year end closures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
