Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker to join our team as a Band 6 Mental Health Crisis Response Specialist. About the Role: As a Mental Health Crisis Response Specialist, you will be responsible for triaging referrals, conducting assessments, and developing time-limited treatment plans for individuals in need of urgent care. You will work closely with other disciplines and teams to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach that meets the clinical needs of service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage urgent/crisis mental health referrals and establish an appropriate response
  • Conduct mental health assessments, formulation, and time-limited treatment planning for individuals needing an urgent/crisis response
  • Develop close working links with other mental health teams and agencies to enable swift and appropriate transfer between services
  • Contribute to and deliver time-limited, co-productive care plans in consultation with service users, families/carers, community teams, primary care, and other appropriate service providers

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have current registration with the relevant regulatory body (RNMH/Registered Social Worker), evidence of continuous professional development in mental health nursing/social work, and higher practice skills in mental health care across the age range.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £43,041 - £58,217 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, life insurance, and access to training and development opportunities.

Working Arrangements: This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-8pm, with occasional flexible working arrangements. A UK driving license is also required.
