Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to lead our night care team at Kentford Manor, a luxury care home in the heart of Suffolk.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support their colleagues to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role

  • Lead and supervise your shift to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and implement effective care plans.
  • Administer and record medication as required.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate them.
  • Work closely with care assistants to provide daily support to residents, promoting independence and enabling them to remain active.
  • Develop services by working closely with the leadership team.

Salary and Benefits

As a Senior Care Assistant with Care UK, you can expect a competitive salary of £23,500 - £25,500 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive:

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven ability to lead and supervise others.
  • Knowledge of care planning processes and procedures.
