Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Follow work instructions for routine maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Work within a team or independently as needed to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, pulleys, bearings, and other mechanical components is essential for this role.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental protocols is crucial for maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Experience in mechanical fitting and equipment maintenance is required for this position.
  • Welding, fabrication, and maintenance tasks are an integral part of this role.
  • Competency in basic Multi Skilling is necessary for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Experience with heavy plant equipment is essential for this role.
