About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team in Manchester. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals who have been out of work for at least 9 months to find sustainable employment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants and understanding each individual's unique needs to create a tailored support plan. You will work collaboratively with participants to identify potential barriers to employment and develop strategies to overcome them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build effective relationships with participants and provide guidance on job search strategies
  • Partner with participants to create comprehensive action plans, identifying career opportunities and addressing employment-related barriers
  • Provide job search support, including resume development and interview preparation
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a performance-driven environment with targets
  • Desire to make a positive impact on people's lives
  • Strong administration skills and proficiency in Excel
