Job Title: Business Development Manager

VanRath is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing a network of contacts to attract new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically target and connect with business owners, IT managers, and high-level decision makers to establish strong relationships and sell our services.
  • Actively source new customers and business opportunities, managing pipeline accordingly and solely within our CRM system.
  • Maintain a customer market intelligence database and provide quotations, relevant information, and data to potential customers.
  • Liaise with other business functions to ensure seamless customer service and participate in relevant sales and marketing events to promote our business.
  • Keep abreast of developments regarding IT services and cyber security and provide regular sales reports and updates on agreed KPIs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience in a proactive field-based sales hunter role with a successful track record in new customer acquisition and KPI target delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus, excellent planning, multi-tasking, and organisational skills.
  • A people person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network and build strong working relationships with senior-level staff.
  • A full clean driving licence and highly competent in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
