Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exceptional new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Home Manager to oversee an outstanding nursing home in the Bedford, Bedfordshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This is one of the latest nursing homes in the heart of Bedford, offering an intimate, relaxed abode for care seekers demanding the luxurious features of a five-star boutique hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and resources to ensure each resident enjoys a dignified and fulfilling life.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead and wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of external regulators.
  • Report to the regional Operations Manager, creating and leading a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding'.
  • While managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential, and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience of managing a nursing home.
  • A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards, and the ability to work towards achieving Outstanding.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families, and visitors.
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding-rated care home.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
  • Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £65,000 per annum. This amazing position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm. In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive the following generous benefits:
