Job Description

Care Assistants - Evenings / Weekends - Earn between £13.50 - £14.50 Per Hour

We are seeking individuals with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a difference in the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Bedford as care professionals.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is available to work in the evenings, from 4pm-10pm, and also needs to be available to work on alternate weekends.

You do not need previous experience as full training is provided.

However, you do need a full driving licence and access to a car.

The role includes:

• Accompanying clients to appointments and social events.

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.

• Pick up a prescription, go shopping for essentials, and do other errands.

• Carry out light housework, laundry, or ironing.

• Provide medication reminders.

• Assist clients getting out of bed in the morning or into bed at the end of their day.

• Running a bath or shower and being close by in case they need assistance.

• Assisting with dressing & undressing and personal care if required.

• Above all, be the person who shows friendliness, warmth, and empathy.

Qualifications

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a care professional. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others
