Deputy Nursery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at a friendly and established Nursery setting in the Poole area.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, as well as strong leadership skills. The nursery is part of a larger group which has 5 other settings in the local area, offering opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nursery Manager with the daily operations and management of the nursery.
  • Supervise staff and ensure adherence to nursery policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the children, parents, and staff.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality childcare and educational programmes.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and budgeting.

Requirements:

  • Early Years qualification - minimum Level 3.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
