We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at a friendly and established Nursery setting in the Poole area.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, as well as strong leadership skills. The nursery is part of a larger group which has 5 other settings in the local area, offering opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager with the daily operations and management of the nursery.
- Supervise staff and ensure adherence to nursery policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the children, parents, and staff.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality childcare and educational programmes.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and budgeting.
Requirements:
- Early Years qualification - minimum Level 3.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
