Nursery Manager Position Overview



Hadland Care Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our Early Years team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including staff management, child care, and equipment maintenance
  • Develop and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, working towards an outstanding level of care and maintaining our Good Ofsted accreditation
  • Conduct risk assessments, ensure policies and procedures are in place, and maintain the highest standards of best practice
  • Manage occupancy levels, ensure maximum utilisation, and meet targets
  • Monitor and assess the quality of provision, ensuring the nursery team is well-equipped to provide the highest standards of early learning and childcare


Requirements




  • Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent
  • DBS clearance
  • At least 2 years' experience of leadership within an Early Years setting or suitable experience
  • Management and childcare experience is essential
  • Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene qualifications
  • Commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD)
