About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join Tadpoles Daycare as a Level 5 Childcare Apprentice as a Nursery Manager, covering Maternity Leave.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management, running, and development of the nursery. Working as a Nursery Manager, you will lead on operational management and coordination of the childcare provision, including staff, children, and equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standard of teaching and care is delivered to our children.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of provision and maintain our Good Ofsted accreditation.
  • Work closely with staff, children, and equipment to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and achieve outstanding results.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role.
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills.
  • Must be able to obtain clear DBS.
  • At least 2 years' experience of leadership within an Early Years Setting or suitable experience.
