About this Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Actuarial Developer to join our team at Moody's.

This role involves working closely with other actuaries and actuarial developers to design and implement new features for our AXIS platform.

Responsibilities

As an Actuarial Developer, you'll interpret business requirements for features related to specific AXIS modules, ensure compliance with coding standards, and develop expertise in at least one area of actuarial practice.

You'll also have the opportunity to train junior actuarial programmers and contribute to our team's success.

Qualifications

  • A degree in actuarial science with a minor in computer science preferred
  • At least 2 years of actuarial programming experience
  • ASA and working toward completion of FSA
  • Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design & development, C++ preferred
