Job Summary

The Actuarial Developer will collaborate with actuaries and actuarial developers, supporting client support, system design, and marketing professionals. They will design and implement new features for AXIS, solving actuarial issues posed by clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Interpret business requirements for AXIS modules.
  2. Maintain coding standards compliance.
Other Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop expertise in at least one area of actuarial practice.
  2. Train junior actuarial programmers.
Qualifications
  1. A degree in actuarial science with a minor in computer science preferred.
  2. At least 2 years of actuarial programming experience.
  3. ASA and working toward completion of FSA.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design & development, C++ preferred.
