About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Leader to join our high-profile data science team at Aviva. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of insurance through cutting-edge analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business problems and define solutions using data science techniques.
  • Lead a team to explore new and innovative ways of generating value from data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve decision making across the Aviva Group.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability, with experience in solving complex problems using data science.
  • Relevant experience in leading others to solve complex business problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to non-technical audiences.
  • Organised self-starter, with drive and commitment.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £40,000 - £60,000 National or £50,000 - £70,000 London.
  • Bonus opportunity: 10% of annual salary.
  • Generous pension scheme: Aviva will contribute up to 14%.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
