About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join InHealth Group as a Nurse Specialist in our Targeted Lung Health Check service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare to patients, identifying asymptomatic individuals, and providing early diagnosis of lung cancer and other lung diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver TLHC appointments to patients, both virtually and face-to-face, and generate onward referrals to low-dose CT for high-risk patients.
- Provide specialist knowledge and care to patients and their carers, including respiratory assessment and smoking cessation nursing advice.
- Work autonomously, engaging with the wider TLHC teams as needed, and support the Team Lead with clinical administration duties.
- Provide mentorship and support/supervision to more junior members of the team and wider TLHC team delivering lung health checks.
- Engage in audit and/or information collection where required.
