Job Title: Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the West of England Gender Identity Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex needs.

About the Role

This is a new substantive post that has been created to support the growth and development of our clinic. As a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the nursing team and contributing to the development of our services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team and contribute to the development of our services
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex needs

  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical education program
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced nurse who has a strong background in gender healthcare. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a flexible approach to service delivery and be able to lead and manage a team.
