About the Role

We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic individual to join our Elderly Care team as a Consultant Geriatrician/Frailty. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the expansion of the Acute Frailty Service, providing specialist care to older people living with frailty.

Main Duties

The appointee will work with consultant colleagues and the Acute Frailty Team to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for local residents. The individual will be based at Conquest Hospital, but this may be subject to change depending on service need.

Requirements

  • Hold a medical qualification or qualification registered with the GMC
  • Have a high standard of clinical skill and expertise in the specialty
  • Be able to contribute to the full range of skills required for the on-call rota for the specialty
  • Have comprehensive clinical experience in general medicine and geriatric medicine
  • Have good working knowledge of the theory and practice of Geriatric Medicine
