About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Elderly Care Physician to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Acute Frailty Service, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for local residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with consultant colleagues and the Acute Frailty Team to provide specialist care to older people living with frailty.
  • Contribute to the full range of skills required for the on-call rota for the specialty.
  • Supervise postgraduate trainees and provide clinical governance.
  • Organise outpatient waiting lists and ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Hold a medical qualification or qualification registered with the GMC.
  • Have a high standard of clinical skill and expertise in the specialty.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Have a commitment to continuing professional development and specialty development.
