About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Allergy Specialist Dietitian to join our expanding team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work part-time as an Allergy Specialist Dietitian within a thriving IQAS Accredited Allergy Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to individuals with various allergic conditions.

Our service is dedicated to providing evidence-based practices and innovative methodologies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. We welcome applications from Dietitians with prior experience in allergy care, particularly those with a passion for leadership and innovation.

About the Team

We are a collaborative and dynamic team comprising allergists, dietitians, nurses, and support staff. Our team values diversity, equality, and inclusion, and we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to inform dietetic treatment and management of patients within the allergy service.
  • Provide guidance to the Allergy MDT, patients, and carers on dietary requirements and recommendations.
  • Interpret relevant investigations such as skin prick testing, serum Ig-E, and ISAC to inform nutritional and dietary needs.
  • Support older adolescents and young adults in managing their food allergies independently, offering practical advice on eating out, cooking, and living away from home.

What We Offer
