We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Allergy to join our team at the Royal London Hospital. As a key member of our Integrated Directorate of the Children's Hospital Division, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead outpatient clinics for patients with complex multi-system allergic disease
  • Support the provision of standard and high-risk food challenges
  • Contribute to the development of our emerging food immunotherapy provision

Person Specification
  • MBBS or equivalent degree
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • On GMC Specialist Register in Paediatrics or within 3 months of CCT
  • SPIN in paediatric allergy (or equivalent training)
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • GRID training in paediatric allergy
  • MSc (or higher qualification) in Allergy
  • Experience in drug allergy & immunotherapy
  • Experience in research
  • Experience in Medical Management roles
  • Knowledge of business planning and budgets
  • Experience of dealing with governance and risk
Skills and Abilities
  • Able to empathise with people from different social, cultural and religious backgrounds
  • Able to communicate with parents and children effectively
  • Resilience when dealing with complex and challenging safeguarding scenarios
