Job Title: Registered Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Home Manager to join our team at Willing Care. As a Registered Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our care home, overseeing all aspects of its operations, and championing the well-being of our residents and staff.

About the Role

As the Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all daily operations of the care home, including staff management, resident care, and compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans that prioritize and support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of each resident within our care home.
  • Recruiting, training, and providing ongoing guidance to a diverse and dedicated care staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional care services.
  • Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, families, and external organizations to comprehensively address the individual needs and aspirations of each resident.
  • Assuming accountability for the financial and administrative facets of the care home, including budgeting, record-keeping, and resource allocation.
  • Staying abreast of industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards, continuously striving to ensure that the care home not only meets but exceeds industry benchmarks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Management) qualification.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a care management role within the context of a care home setting.
  • Profound comprehension of regulatory necessities and best practices within the care home industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on cultivating positive and supportive relationships.
  • A passionate commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the care home environment.
  • The ability to act as a staunch advocate for both residents and staff, fostering a culture of transparent communication and unwavering support within the care home community.
