SEN Secondary Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified SEN Secondary Teacher to join our team at Brookthorpe Hall School, a specialist provision for students aged 7 to 16 with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching students with challenging behaviour and a proven track record of delivering creative learning opportunities that maximise pupil achievement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate SEN Secondary Teacher who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of our pupils.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality teaching to support the delivery of KS3 and 4 curricula in ways that meet the individual needs of our students.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a background of teaching in an SEN/ASC environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with current education issues and best practices in relation to SEN teaching.
Key Skills Required
  • Be experienced in working with students with SEMH/ASD and have a sound understanding of strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
