Finance Manager Role Overview:

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial management skills in a dynamic environment. As a Finance Manager at i-Jobs, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance to senior stakeholders and elected members, as well as leading a team to deliver financial support services.

Key Tasks:
  • Deliver financial guidance and support to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead a team to provide financial services across various directorates.
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  • Stay current with changes in financial regulations and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the public sector.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

A competitive salary of £33.18 per hour (PAYE) and a 3-month contract with potential for extension.
