Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Doctor in Spinal Surgery to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands. As a key member of our Spinal Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and complex spine surgical service to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and expertise in spinal surgery, including degenerative and complex spinal surgery, and spine emergency surgery.
  2. Manage and be responsible for continuing care of patients with spinal problems in partnership with current spinal surgeons.
  3. Attend Regional Spine Network meetings as directed by the RSN lead.
  4. Participate in a 1:10 on-call rota.
Requirements
  • Completed at least 12 years full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part-time basis) or have equivalent experience and competencies.
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • PHD/Masters Degree.
