Community Living Coordinator

Templewood Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and organized Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to individuals in need, promoting their independence and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and empathetic approach, and a strong commitment to promoting the independence and well-being of service users. You will also possess relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care and experience of working in a supported living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and practical support to service users, promoting their independence and self-confidence
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Encourage and enable service users to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental health
- Collaborate with colleagues and managers to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (QCF Level 2 or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a supported living environment (minimum 2 years)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and provide cover for colleagues when needed
Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits package including competitive hourly rate, paid mileage, and enhanced DBS payment.
