Job Summary

We are seeking a Night Residential Support Worker to join our team at Kent County Council. As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and care to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in our residential care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage routines and provide support to young people in our care
  • Set goals and facilitate a learning culture in the centre
  • Work across a rolling shift pattern, including regular cover over weekends

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain)
