We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Residential Support Worker to join our team at Kent County Council. As a Night Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage routines and provide support to young people in our residential settings
  • Set goals and facilitate a learning culture in the centre
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of between £26,515 and £28,850

Kent County Council's Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children's Service provides accommodation and support to newly arrived unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in Kent. Our service is committed to ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people, and we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of managers and workers who are committed to ensuring children are protected and supported to take the first steps in their journey to a more permanent home elsewhere in the UK.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about working with adolescents, understands the UAS children's journey, and wants to help achieve the best outcomes for them.

This post will be required to work across a rolling shift pattern, including regular cover over weekends.
