Job Summary:

Axon Moore is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join a prestigious private equity backed business in Lancashire. As a key member of the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and driving growth through strategic planning, corporate finance, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive strategic financial planning, supporting long-term goals and initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled finance professionals, ensuring their continuous development and alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate finance structure to support the company's ongoing growth and acquisition initiatives.
  • Support the CFO and Private Equity House to deliver M&A strategy and post-acquisition integration.
  • Assist in the development and execution of financial strategies that align with the company's expansion plans and private equity partnerships.
  • Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, auditors, and legal advisors, to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of success in senior finance roles, ideally within a private equity backed environment or similar growth-oriented setting.
  • 10 years+ PQE Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a solid grasp of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in managing and nurturing high-performing finance teams.
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
