About the Role
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and employee expenses. This position will work closely with the Accounts Payable Assistants to coordinate the processing of invoices and expenses, as well as building relationships with site finance teams to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the accurate processing of purchase invoices and employee expenses
- Communicate with suppliers and site operators to address queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Liaise with site operators to ensure the purchase order and delivery process is being adhered to correctly
- Oversee the supplier statement reconciliation process
- Coordinate payment runs as per the company's payment terms policy
- Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls
- Maintain the internal purchase order system and manage the electronic purchasing process
- Prepare financial reports as required
About You
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts payable and procurement. The ideal candidate will have:
3 years' experience in a similar role with a working knowledge of accounts payablePrevious experience managing finance teamsExcellent relationship management and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeStrong numerical affinity and accuracyPrevious experience with ERP systems (Exchequer) an advantageWhat We Offer
